Intro to Shamanism
Sunday, March 16th
10 am - 6 pm

Shamanism is an ancient healing practice that can be traced back through every culture as a cornerstone of community and spirituality. The shaman operates from the belief that everything is connected, through the light of spirit, within a matrix of infinite wholeness. Honoring the power of this knowledge, the shaman serves as a living bridge between ordinary reality and non ordinary reality, using the sacred dream as a creative template for access to unlimited healing. Working with Spiritual Guides, Allies, and Compassionate Helping Spirits, a Shaman is able to bring healing from any realm into present reality. Shamanic practices can enhance any personal spiritual path, and compliments all healing modalities. Shamanism is not a religion. It is an invitation to remain open, curious, and trusting of the wisdom that exists in the heart of every living thing.
In this class we will practice:

* Participants are encouraged to bring a drum or rattle (if you have one) yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye covering and journal.
* There will be an hour break for lunch.
